If you are using a Hp Inkjet Printer, to get the best image quality, you should always use Hp Inkjet Print Cartridge and simply follow the guidelines given below:

1. Always keep the ink cartridge sealed in the original package until they are required, this will prevent it from loosing moisture

2. It is advisable to store these ink cartridges at room temperature (60 - 78 degrees F or 15.6 to 26.6 degrees C).

3. Always store Hp Inkjet Print Cartridges in an upright position and not on their sides or upside down.

4. Never remove the protective tape from a new print cartridge unless and until you want to install it onto your printer. The protective tape once removed should not be pasted back.

5. You should avoid touching the contacts and nozzles once you have removed the protective tape from the Hp Inkjet Print Cartridge.

6. Even if you sparingly use your printer, make sure you print at least once a month, just to keep the print cartridges in good working condition.

7. To turn off the printer, always turn it off by pressing the button on the printer control panel rather than by unplugging the printer. Switching off the printer in a proper manner will help in keeping the cartridges in good condition.

8. Always remember that even if you are removing a cartridge from the printer temporarily (for example, replacing the black cartridge with the photo cartridge), put it properly in a cartridge protector.

9. If you have thrown away the cartridge protector that was shipped with the cartridge and you need to remove a cartridge temporarily then put the cartridge in an airtight plastic box. You should take great care of the fact that the nothing touches the nozzles. Using a plastic bag will be a bad idea so avoid it. If you know that you will have to keep the cartridge for a longer period of time then place color cartridges with the nozzles down and black cartridges with the nozzles up.

10. Never carry print cartridges installed in the printer at high altitudes (such as on an airplane).
